Open Application (Factory)

Our company is growing, and we are constantly looking for new employees. If you are you interested in a job at Mirka's production facilities in Jepua, Oraivainen, Pietarsaari or Karjaa, please fill in this open application for our factories and send it to us. As an employee in production, you work in shifts (night, evening and morning) 40h a week. There are many different production lines to work on and thus there are also much to learn and many possibilities. At Mirka we also offer you the opportunity to educate yourself further. As a production worker you can study to become a process operator but you can also aim to take on other tasks within production or elsewhere in the company.

Requirements regarding education, skills and experience:

We are looking for someone who has a vocational education or other upper secondary education (e.g. apprenticeship training or matriculation examination). Because the working languages in our factories are Swedish and Finnish, we are also looking for someone with at least intermediate language skills in Swedish or Finnish. Prior working experience is not required, but we value work experience from industry and from other branches. 

Requirements regarding the person:

To be able to work in production at Mirka you need to be willing to work in 3-shift. As a person we also hope that you put high value on your own and others' safety, that you have a positive attitude towards work, that you are flexible and that you are a good team player. Being practical and knowing how to use basic tools is also an advantage in this job.
