Job description

We are now seeking an internal candidate for the position of Nordic Sales Manager. The Nordic Sales Manager is responsible for developing, leading, and driving sales performance across the Nordic region, with a focus on profitable growth, strong customer relationships, and a data-driven, unified approach across all markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Nordic sales strategy, budget, forecasts, and activity plans.

  • Lead, coach, and develop sales teams across the Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.

  • Drive new customer acquisition, key account management, and the execution of strategic customer plans.

  • Establish and monitor clear objectives, KPIs, and performance follow-up at individual, team, and market levels.

  • Analyze market trends, competitors, sales pipeline, and sales data to prioritize the right  activities.

  • Strengthen collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, and Leadership teams.

  • Ensure CRM discipline (SAP), adherence to sales processes, and continuous improvement of ways of working.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in both B2B and B2C sales, preferably within automotive, retail chains, industrial businesses, or other complex sales environments.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading sales teams and delivering results through others.

  • Ability to work both strategically and operationally, including budgeting, forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning.

  • Strong understanding of Nordic markets, customer structures, and business culture.

  • Experience working with CRM systems, sales analytics, and KPI-driven performance management.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and either Swedish or Finnish. Additional Nordic language skills are considered an advantage.

  • Based in the Nordic region with the ability and willingness to travel regularly across the Nordic countries.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in building or transforming a Nordic sales organization.

  • Background in an international corporation or matrix organization.

  • Experience with channel strategy, dealer networks, key account management, or partner sales.

  • Experience in developing sales processes, pricing strategies, value propositions, and commercial models.

  • Experience in change management, digital sales tools, and cross-functional collaboration between sales and marketing.
